Está confirmado para quinta-feira, dia 8, o 2º Encontro Regional de Secretários Municipais de Agricultura, organizado e realizado pela Seagro. Desta vez, a sede do evento será a cidade de Porangatu. Os encontros têm por objetivo apresentar aos secretários as potencialidades e as oportunidades que o agronegócio oferece para o desenvolvimento das cidades goianas. Ao todo serão realizados 11 encontros em todas as regiões do Estado.

O encontro será realizado durante todo o dia. Na parte da manhã, após a abertura, haverá uma palestra do secretário da Agricultura, Pecuária e Irrigação de Goiás, Antônio Flávio Camilo de Lima, que apresentará um panorama do cenário mundial, brasileiro e estadual do agronegócio. À tarde os secretários vão participar de trabalhos em grupos, que depois serão apresentados e haverá um momento para conclusões e encaminhamentos. O encontro começa às 8 horas no Sindicato Rural e o encerramento está previsto para as 17 horas. Participam do encontro representantes da Emater, Ceasa, Agetop, SSPJ-GO e prefeitura municipal.
